Here is a press release on the change from Brigham’s Hingham Square to Patt’s Place
It’s important to note that Pat Halliday, owner of Brigham’s, is the owner of Patti’s Place. All of the food is remaining basically the same, including the Raspberry Lime Rickeys! The ice cream is new, and the hot fudge is new, but the verdict is that the hot fudge is even BETTER than Brigham’s – thick, gooey, and chocolaty! Pat will continue to source her produce from The Fruit Center in Hingham, so that she can be sure that she is presenting quality across the board to her customers.
Brighams, doing business in Hingham Square since 1954, has been forced to change the brand of ice cream we have been selling. Hood, Inc. has decided to stop production of Brighams ice cream. Pat Halliday, owner of this store since 1997, is bringing in Gifford’s ice cream, a company out of Sknowhegan, Maine. They have been in business for over 100 years and have also won many world awards for their ice cream flavors. The new name of the shop will be Patti’s Place, Lunch, Dinner & Dessert. The name and ice cream will be different, but the food, employees, and family-friendlly customer service will be the same. We have shopped around for this ice cream to make sure we bring our customers a quality product, just like we do for our food ingredients, we prefer to shop local. Come in and try the new ice cream after a delicious burger or salad. We hope you will be pleasantly surprised.
